Payment

For individuals or groups of 8 or less your credit cards details will be held as a security for your booking. Your deposit is non-refundable

Cancellations are acceptable up to 72 hours prior to arrival (based on a 5pm arrival time) with no additional charge, however, you are reminded that any deposit paid is non-refundable. For cancellations of less than 72 hours and no shows you will be liable for the full cost of your stay. However, if you inform us of your cancellation through your booking agent, Ardenbeg will endeavour to resell the beds and you will be refunded the cost of any beds sold, less your deposit and any administrative costs and/or discounts.

For group bookings of 9 or more a 50% deposit is required to secure the booking. 

If you find you have to cancel for whatever reason, the following charges will be made:

Ardenbeg will endeavour to resell the beds and you will be refunded the cost of any beds sold, less administrative costs and/or discounts.

If we are forced to make changes

Ardenbeg will do its utmost to provide all of the arrangements that have been confirmed but we must reserve the right to alter or cancel any arrangements if operational, weather or other considerations so dictate.  

Property and Equipment

Your personal property, including baggage, remains your own responsibility at all times, unless any loss or damage is due to our negligence or failure to carry out our responsibility.  Please note that due to the nature of activities undertaken, Ardenbeg is not necessarily the place to bring expensive watches, jewellery or other precious items, none of which are covered by any insurance provided by Ardenbeg. Equipment hired from Ardenbeg becomes the temporary responsibility of the Hirer.  The Hirer is to ensure that every possible attempt is made to prevent the equipment from damage.  Ardenbeg acknowledges that a certain amount of wear and tear is associated with equipment and its use,  however, in the event that damage does occur through misuse or neglect the Hirer will be responsible for replacement or repair including further consequential loss but not limited to: loss of income if facility/part facility is closed; mileage @ standard government rate, time and cleaning and/or repair of item(s).  Payment for damage is required prior to departure by the person making the booking.  Bedding is provided but you are welcome to bring your own sleeping bags. If visiting in winter please bring enough clothes to keep warm: recently winter temp has regularly been below – 25oC!!

We hope that you enjoy your stay here, however if you do have a complaint while at Ardenbeg then we want to be the first to hear about it.  Please speak to us while you are here or write within 28 days enclosing full details with reference to the complaint and we will do our utmost to find a solution.

This is mostly done through anonymous statistics. The anonymous statistics may be used for all kind of tasks. The data is stored in our data centers. Under certain circumstances we transmit/receive data to/from different provider (third party systems). We are connected through interfaces to OTAs (online travel agencies) but also some specific web services. It is also possible, that some data is sent to a hostel specific subsystem (via URL).
